I sent a project out on submission in June and the feedback is starting to trickle in. Some of it's good, some if it's bad, but most of it's all over the place. No one person agrees on what's right or what's wrong with it. That's just how subjective the publishing industry is. Eventually you have to look at what people are saying and think, "What do I agree with?" That's the advice you take to heart. The rest you can let go. Worse than a rejection is being in a bad marriage to an editor or agent who isn't a good fit.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06376697563995394878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6488911705938331499.post-46158293102514877222010-10-31T22:47:04.381-04:002010-10-31T22:47:04.381-04:00I'm about to venture into the sea of submissio...I'm about to venture into the sea of submissions again, so this was a timely read for me.J.L. They're not sitting around thinking "Ugh, I don't want to print anything by CL!" or worse "She smells, I just can't deal with her!".a traditional housewife against the worldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03360118274239382315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6488911705938331499.post-68970929217196379012010-10-27T16:26:44.684-04:002010-10-27T16:26:44.684-04:00I remember this post!
